I have owned and been involved with this beautiful breed since 1996 Breeding only occasionally with health and temperament at the forefront All stock are health tested for the following breed specific conditions- Heart tested yearly by specialist canine cardiologist, Eye tested yearly by specialist canine ophthalmologist through the ACES scheme, DNA tests for curly coat, dry eye episodic falling and the EG gene. All adult breeding stock have an MRI to check for CM and SM. Puppies are temperament tested and raised using the world renowned “Puppy culture” method . Examples of puppy culture techniques can be seen on my Facebook group - “Dompetan Golden Retrievers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels” page. Only health cleared, temperament sound dogs are used for breeding. I am a member of the NSW and Victorian Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Clubs and the Kyeamba Kennel and Training Club, Wagga Wagga. I have also been involved with the Delta Pets as Therapy Program, where my dogs regularly visit aged care facilities.

In 2022 we added a stunning Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to our eclectic family. Nabucco La La La La Lola "owns" our 15 year old son Cooper! She was a gift from his Grandmother (Gay Bonham from Nabucco Cavaliers) who is now mentoring him on all things Cav, breeding, puppies and care. Lola is not only stunning, she has the most gentle and kind nature. She absolutely adores Cooper, who picked her at birth and has been cuddling her since the day she was born. Adding a CKCS to our already strange mix only meant an extra body in the same bed with our Great Dane, Australian Cattle Dog, Pug and Toy Poodle. It makes for a strange sight to visitors as they line up to welcome them, but are all best friends and get on very well.
