OK, so maybe Miss Riffraff doesn't look like the average show dog. That's not because she doesn't scrub up a treat, but because we are much more interested in the fact that she's a fun dog who is great to live with. Riffraff turned fourteen in 2020 and is enjoying her retirement away from the hustle and bustle of our farm. We still have some of her granddaughters in our breeding program, though, as well as a few other lagottos we've collected along the way. We added Lagottos to our farmily because we wanted dogs that are not too big, friendly with the whole world, easy to care for and who love life. Our dogs are particularly fond of diving in water troughs, chasing butterflies and ducks, and curling up by the fire or under the computer desk at night. Exactly what we were looking for. In 2008, while searching for a new dog, I found the Lagotto Romagnolo and have been involved with this joyful, loving and intelligent breed ever since. I am the proud owner of three beautiful girls, LaDinamica Pina Cattiua (Pina), LaDinamica Magdelena (Luna) and Incavale Xmas Cupid (Gianna) who come from strong blood lines. My foundation bitch, Fiorella, has produced some beautiful pups over the years, the first to be raised on the Surf Coast of Victoria. All my girls have excellent hips scores and free of any genetic anomalies of the breed. We are a small breeder of Lagotto Romagnolos based in Melbourne. Our aim is to breed healthy Lagottos with a great temperament and a good conformation. In our view the perfect Lagotto should be friendly and energetic with no resource guarding and it should display a great working drive. We have chosen Panda as our foundation bitch as she has the most wonderful temperament and is very smart and keen to learn. Whether you are looking for an obedience dog, tracking dog, agility dog, show dog or simply a wonderful pet then we expect our next litter to have what you are looking for. Around 7-8 weeks of age, all puppies will be temperament tested and we will match puppies to their new families to make sure they fit in the best. At this time we can also access which puppies are likely to do well in the show ring. We became involved in this unique and rewarding breed nearly a decade ago with our first dog, Charlotte. Since then, we’ve dedicated ourselves to preserving and representing this exceptional breed through our small breeding program, with a focus on temperament, health, conformation, and responsible ownership. Our breeding dogs are beloved members of our family, and their puppies are raised in our home with love and care. We wish to advise you all that we will no longer be breeding. After 34 years in Pulis and 11 years in Lagottos. It is time to hang up our breeding. The huge amount of time involved in raising our litters, has finally caught up with us. This last litter, whelped 13 Sept. has taken its toll. Just too old to be able to be on the go the whole day, caring and loving these beautiful puppies. At Moraamuz, our goal & commitment has been to breed and raise the soundest Lagottos, in both health and temperment. Having successfully shown, done preformance sports and bred Pulis since the late 1970's - we brought this wealth of experience in dogs to our Lagottos. Located in Echuca, Victoria. We were drawn to the breed when looking for an old rounder dog that suited our busy, multiple kids household. We would looking for a dog that easy to train, loves being outside, swimming, running, loves attention, didn't drop hair around the house, the Lagotto ticked all of those boxes and so many more once we fell in love with the breed. We actively show our crew, with new comer baby Peach just hitting the ring. Our dogs are all DNA tested as well as hip and elbow scored. We will be having a litter in the coming months which will be lovingly raised with the help of all kids in the house.
