Sanyati Ridgebacks are situated on 10 acres in East Kurrajong NSW. We have been involved with Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1984 when Kathy first began showing the breed in conformation. Now Sanyati is a second generation kennel, with daughter Ally taking over many of the roles. Our Ridgies are much loved members of the family, they live alongside Ally’s young children and are a part of our every day life, going to family outings and camping trips. We prove our dogs quality by taking them to shows to be assessed against others breeding with very consistent and pleasing results. We breed occasionally with a huge amount of forethought into the bloodlines and qualities we are after to continue our kennel and support our breed. All our dogs have had full DNA profiling and hip and elbow scoring to reduce and eliminate hereditary diseases from our lines. We breed our dogs to be athletic, healthy, sound, and loving, all things Ridgeback! Litter planned for December 2022, taking interest now!

Vishalah Kennels is a small kennel located in Western Sydney, inspired and guided by several generations of showing and breeding Ridgebacks. Formerly ‘Vishala’, our kennels started when my grandmother, Deirdre Bacon, brought her first Ridgeback, Leader of Chadwell (”Kaunda”), over from England in 1972. Deirdre co-founded Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Inc. (1973) and passed her passion for the breed along to my mother, Kate McPherson, who bred several beautiful show-winning dogs including: Aust Ch Vishala Sikoto; Aust Ch Vishala Inkosi; Aust Ch Vishala Impi; Aust Ch Vishala Sebina; Aust Ch Vishala Ndawo; Aust Ch Vishala Kabangisa, and International Ch Vishala Kinghunter Lance. All dogs are hip and elbow scored and cleared for any hereditary or congenital defects we are aware of and have screened for. Our puppies are microchipped and vaccinated at 6 weeks and leave us well socialised with all relevant paperwork and a comprehensive Puppy Pack.
