Our family have been living with and breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks in our home since 1984. Our lives would not be complete without our beautiful Ridgebacks. Breeding true to type, excellence in temperament, health and soundness. Breeding for show or family companions. Our Ridgebacks are Xrayed for Hip and Elbow Dysplasia. DNA profile, screened for Degenerative Myelopathy, Myoclonic Epilepsy Rhodesian Ridgeback type, all cleared before breeding. Our puppies are raised in our home and are a big part of our family. Our adult Ridgebacks are walked and exercised daily. Puppies are vet checked, vaccinated, wormed f/n and microchipped. Pups are checked at birth and then each week for Dermoid Sinus. Our property is also home to A Dogs Domain and Cats too, a dog boarding and cattery service. Our journey began in 2017 when we met Greg and Rowhin from Zambuana Lodge, NSW and welcomed our first Ridgeback into our family. Since then, our passion for this incredible breed has only grown, and we continue to value the ongoing relationship we have with them. At Zenridge we strive to breed Ridgebacks of sound temperament and health. Following a decade of owning Rhodesian Ridgebacks and falling in love with the breed, we have taken the next step with our newest Ridgeback Nala, attending conformation shows and receiving her Champion Title in late 2023. We were in awe seeing how our beautiful Nala and her exceptional temperament developed as she grew, hence our journey to conformation showing and breeding. We are in the process of establishing our kennel with our first litter being anticipated later this year. All puppies will be raised in our home environment around other pets, and will be regularly exposed to babies, toddlers and older children. When puppies leave for their new homes they will come vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and with a puppy pack containing items you need to ensure the best transition into your home. Our Ridgebacks are x-rayed and scored for Hip & Elbow Dysplasia, and are DNA tested for Degenerative Myelopathy (Clear) & JME (Clear). We look forward to the journey of being Ridgeback breeders!
