All puppy or older dog enquiries need to go through the Application for the Wait List on the website - although you are welcome to contact me direct for show enquiries. We are always on the look-out to see quality pups in the ring and only pups going into the show ring will be available on the Main Register - all other pups are on the Limited Register, not for breeding or showing. We conduct health testing on all our dogs prior to breeding - AVA hip & elbow, patella grading and eye testing - copies of parental health clearances are provided with pups. Any enquiries for use of one of our dogs at stud will only be considered if the bitch is registered on the Main Register with the pedigree papers are in your name (or overseas equivalent) and she has been fully health tested to our satisfaction prior to breeding. We have only had this breed since 2014, a bitch from the Snowstars kennel, however have been successfully showing and breeding Pomeranians and Standard Poodles in excess of 30 years. In 2015 we imported our male, Taiyou, from the famous Kagiyasou kennel in Japan bred by Mr Mori. We purchased a bitch in 2016 with the type of Japanese lines we would like to continue. We acquired a stud puppy in 2017, having kept a bitch from our own prefix in 2016. We have titled all 7 of our showdogs to their Champion status. In 2019 we were fortunate to source a UK bred male from Japanese lines from Rakurai kennels. Taiyou our Japanese dog has achieved his Supreme title winning 2 x Best in Show and 2 x Runner up Best in Show. He was top Shiba Inu Australia 2018 (Dogzonline) Taiyou won Best of Breed at Brisbane Royal 2016 Chie Ejima - Japan and in 2017 as well as Best of Breed Sept 2016 under specialist Mr Satoshi Besho (Japan) July 2018. To date 2025 have made up several Champions and Best in Show winners and intend pursuing excellence in this breed. Taiyou is available at stud to approved bitches with conditions. Kaikatsu new owners are carefully selected. WE DO NOT TAKE BOOKINGS We expect our new owners to visit and meet us and our dogs irrespective of your location, or video call from more remote places. We have been owned by the Shiba breed since Humph came to live with us in 2015. He was supposed to be the only one but we fell in love and added a few more to the family. Our puppies are raised in our home with our kids and other animals. They are ready to join their new families from 8 - 10 weeks of age. They will come microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, with parasite prevention on, 6 months pet insurance, food and a puppy pack. We welcome puppy enquiries and you are more than welcome to come and visit us at a show or at home to meet our shibas or transport can be arranged Australia wide.

For this reason, we have made the considered decision to gradually retire from breeding Shiba Inu in the coming years — a choice made out of deep respect for their health, heritage, and sustainability. Morgerot is a young kennel however the success in the show and trial ring speak for themselves. Puppies are not always available, since I only breed every few years and spend the time in-between showing and trialing my dogs. I only will want to sell my dogs to people that stay in contact, so if the unfortunate need arises I can care for or rehome any puppy I bred. My dogs have a good, self assured temperament. Shiba inu need early socialising, training and exercise and mine are no different.
