Although we enjoy great success in the show rings, our Shibas are our family companions first and are usually found making themselves comfortable on our couches & beds. Our Shibas' health & happiness is of the utmost importance to us. We are not a "Kennel Facility" and as such do not keep a large number of dogs. We breed selectively and only when we wish to keep a puppy for ourselves, additional puppies are then available to only the best of homes. All babies are raised in our home, no expense is spared to ensure them the very best start to life. All of our breeding animals are hip & patella scored & are eye tested clear (with gonioscopy) prior to breeding. Copies of results available upon request or via official databases. We at Tsukiyo Shiba Inu are doing our very best to breed Shiba Inu for the conformation show ring. Importing many quality shiba lines, following the standard written by ANKC and aspiring to the standard put down by Nihon Ken Hozonkai Every shiba we have has been health tested to a very high standard. We are very proud of our breeding program and have produced some stunning puppies for us to show and for our families to own as great examples of the breed. Our babies are raised in our home, well socialised with our children and cat! They are exposed to lots of socialising environments and trained to sleep in crates from 6wks old. Begin toilet training with different trays and mats indoor. Also outdoor on grass from a young age! Lead trained and some puppies have had lots of show training also. Welcome to Redtales Shiba Inu! Although the Redtales name was established in 2021, my journey with Shiba Inus spans over 17 years of dedicated ownership, exhibition, and breeding through Orienta Kennels. My commitment is to producing Shiba Inu that are healthy, sound and possess exceptional temperaments. Our upcoming litter is highly anticipated, and given that we don't have litters often, availability will be limited. Mikenwa Shiba Inu was established in 2023 when I emigrated to Australia and brought my two Shiba Inu’s from the UK. Janet an 11 year old retired female, and Tucker my 2-year-old boy. In 2024 I imported a new female, and she is now part of our pack. I maybe new to the world of Shiba’s but I have had a passion for them for many years. I have been mentored by my good friend Mrs Irene Rushfirth of Hikays Show Kennels, who has been in dogs for over 50 years and has a wealth of experience in Shiba Inu’s and who is also a well-respected Judge and breed specialist in the dog show world. She has also bred all of my dogs all of whom come from great blood lines that can be traced back to over 100 years. They have great personalities and temperaments which is testament to their breeding and breeder. My dogs are health tested, hip & elbow, patella grading and eye & breed specific DNA tested. Copies of these reports can be requested on application for a pup if required. My dogs are kept as pets and are not kept in kennels. Future puppies will also be raised in the home and be socialised by me. My pups will come with full paperwork, micro chipped, 1st inoculations & wormed. Hasumi Shiba Inu is an ANKC registered kennel and Dogs Queensland registered breeder, dedicated to the ethical preservation of the Shiba Inu breed. Our journey with Shiba Inu began in 2010, when we started working alongside Orienta Shiba Inu, where we developed a deep appreciation for the breed’s temperament, structure, and unique character. This early experience shaped the foundation of our breeding program and our commitment to responsible, ethical practices. All of our dogs are raised as valued family members in a home environment. We place strong emphasis on health, temperament, and breed type, and we breed in accordance with ANKC and Dogs Queensland rules and regulations. Health testing appropriate to the breed is undertaken, and all puppies are raised with early socialisation and enrichment. Hasumi Shiba Inu is committed to carefully matching puppies with suitable homes and providing lifelong support to our puppy families.
