Arjai Almost Criminal - "Willow" I am a very small kennel and breed only when i am looking for a new show prospect. My whippets are a serious part of my every day life and are part of the family.. actually I am thinking they are the true bosses of this family !!

In 2011, we entered the wonderful world of Whippets - after a long and successful time showing, breeding (on occasion) and raising Rhodesian Ridgebacks (since 1984). Although being relatively new to the breed, our love and understanding of Whippets is paramount and we are eternally grateful to our mentors for their continuous guidance and support. Our whippets are an integral part of our family being raised around children and other dogs. In fact we think they rule the house. Our whippets continue to compete successfully in the show-ring and the lure coursing arena. We are a small ethical breeder of elegant , temperamentally sound, athletic hounds .Our dogs currently are shown , do companion training and lure coursing , Sprint-dog (TM) We put our heart and soul into making certain that each puppy leaves with foundations for a long and happy life with their new owners regardless of their chosen fields of endeavour ( including lounge lizard duties). Our dogs are indoor/outdoor companions and a constant source of joy. All potential companions for our pups are interviewed and where possible the home and environment are vetted for suitability prior to the agreement to release pup into your care. Our foundation girl is Nuet Ch Calahorra River Tigris, “Tiggy” is our heart dog and constant companion. Litter planned for May And possibly late 2026 from a Tiggy daughter and/ or possibly a granddaughter . I am a Committed member and strong supporter of ANKC through Dogswest Inc, Proud Member of The Whippet Club of W.A and The Sighthound club of WA, hound club of W.A. West Coast Dog Sports Club Plus various other West Australian show clubs.

We have been owners and breeders of whippets since 2001. Our dogs have excelled in Agility and Lure Coursing and have great robust temperaments, making them wonderful, loving pets and great sporting companions. Our original lines are based on very old Australian lines (Hydale & Gayregal) and we are excited to have two new girls, Allgard Hot Wire on Fire (River) and Isilwane Blessid Union O Souls (Doris), join our small stud to carry on our breeding lines, while adding some more modern breeding. River & Doris are both consistent winners at Lure Coursing multiple 1st Placings and Best in Field awards between them. Our home bred Pea (Rakaia Maid M Peace) debuted in 2025 and quickly proved her heritage, upgrading into Open competition. Doris and Pea have also won Class in Group at Championship Shows and Specialty Shows and Doris has been awarded Best of Breed at the 2024 Perth Royal Show. All our breeding girls have been heart tested as normal by echocardiogram.

At Chasebrook we aim to breed well balanced, healthy, sound whippets that are 'fit for function'. We firmly believe in quality over quantity and as such we only breed occasionally after selecting the most suited blood lines available. Our dogs live with us in rural WA. Annie was awarded the following results during '23 and '24 Lure Coursing seasons: 10 x singles passes ~ gaining her Singles Field Champion (sFCH) title. 5 x 1sts in Open, 2 x 2nds in Open, 8 x 1st Sighthound, 2 x 2nd Sighthound, 3 x 3rd Sighthound, 4 x Best of Breed Whippet, 6 x High In Trial, and 4 x Best In Field. Annie competed in Battle Of The States in '23 and became WA's fastest whippet, In '24 she repeated that making it 2 years in a row WA's Fastest Whippet. Ashsinhalt Mizune (AI) SPRD. (Daisy) began Lure Coursing in April '25 and we have no doubt she will also excel at the sport. Daizy also competed in Battle Of The States in '24 and came in as WA's 2nd fastest Whippet (behind Annie) She also excelled in Sprint Dogs(TM) over the 24/25 Summer. Ashsinhalt Chasing Dreams for Chasebrook (Willow) joined us in February '25 and will continue to attend conformation shows before beginning her SprintDog(TM) and Lure Coursing career. We hope to have a litter late '25 or early '26.
