Vizsrol Hungarian Vizslas. We are a new Vizsla kennel aiming to produce quality vizslas that are true to type and exude breed standard correctness and working ability and very sound temperaments. Very proud to announce our foundation litter is due late May 2025. Al puppies will be Wormed from 2 weeks and Vet checked, Vaccinations and Microchips will be placed at 6 weeks. Pups are available on a mains pedigree registration or alternatively on a limited pedigree registration. Limited register means that you are unable to breed or show although there are many other excellent activities that are available from your kennel club. Adult dogs have both been hip and elbow scored. We are able to arrange transport around Australia and beyond at the expense of the buyer. Expressions of interest for this litter are now being taken. Our journey to breed these beautiful animals began with the first vizsla to join our family, at Christmas time 2017. We are keen outdoors people, and love the passion vizslas show for joining in anything we are doing. With their gorgeous colour, athletic build and movement, they are a pleasure to watch and joy to have around.The versatile vizsla will take an active part in all of your life, from curling up at your feet while you read a book, to happily riding in the boat or trotting beside you hiking, to learning any training discipline you are interested in. Your vizsla will truly be a family member and loving companion, and have a great sense of humour! We are breeding because of our passion for these loving and fun dogs, for soundness, temperament, and hunting/ working ability. Our dogs have been carfully selected to promote these qualities. We currently train ours for hunting as deer indicator dogs. They also visit resthomes and cafes, come horseriding and love family gatherings, even enjoying learning trick moves. KOMHV is a small Hungarian Vizsla kennel in Waihi, New Zealand. My journey with vizslas began 13 years ago with "Otis" (Oakburn Petra), whose boundless energy and gentle spirit captured my heart. As a marathon runner and outdoor enthusiast, I found the perfect partnering the Vizsla -loyal, athletic, and always ready for adventure. I grew up surrounded by dogs. My mother bred Jack Russell Terriers, and my sister breeds Cocker Spaniels and is a Gundog Show Judge. With this strong foundation of ethical breeding and dog showing -l have learnt a deep respect for breed standards, health and temperament. My journey into Vizsla breeding began with our "Otis" (Oakburn Petra), who has sired several healthy, well-tempered litters over the last 8 years. His exceptional lineage, steady temperament, and classic Vizsla drive made him the ideal foundation stud dog. From there I carefully selected his daughter, Troffin Marigold, as our future breeding bitch. With her outstanding pedigree, gentle disposition, and strong resemblance to her sire, she is a perfect match to carry forward Otis's legacy and my vision for the breed future. Ive grown to deeply appreciate the intelligence, sensitivity and versatility of this breed. At KOMHV our Vizslas are raised in nature, roaming beaches, swimming rivers and exploring mountian trails. Caelora Hungarian Vizslas Established 2025 Caelora is founded on a lifelong immersion in gundogs and a deep respect for ethical breeding, type, and temperament. Growing up surrounded by dogs, I was introduced early to English Cocker Spaniels, Gordon Setters, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Bracco Italianos, and now Hungarian Vizslas. My passion for purebred dogs was shaped from childhood, with my grandmother breeding and exhibiting Cavalier King Charles Spaniels under the Taslyn prefix, and my mother continuing a strong gundog legacy with English Cockers, Gordon Setters, Welsh Springers, and Hungarian Vizslas under her prefix that she started in 1987. I have been actively involved with Gordon Setters since 2006, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in breeding, exhibiting, and preserving breed integrity. As our program evolved, my mum and I made the considered decision to separate our Gordon Setters and Hungarian Vizslas, allowing each breed to be developed under their own dedicated prefixs. While our Vizslas were previously bred using my mum's prefix, they now proudly continue under their own identity—Caelora—carrying forward the same commitment to quality, soundness, and purpose that has defined our breeding program.
