Creschendo (formerly the Whippet section of Adstaff Kennels), purchased their first Whippet early in 2012, as William had a strong desire to have his own show dog and join the rest of the family in this activity. It was decided that a Whippet would be the perfect breed due to their calm, gentle and loyal disposition. This was not the start of the family involvement with the breed however, as William's paternal grandmother had successfully owned, bred and exhibited Whippets in the '70's and '80's and to this day has one or two consistently at her side. One of William's sisters, Marcella, followed him into the breed and enjoyed success with her bitch Wyndwick Lady Jane, winning numerous Best of Breeds, Runner Up Best Exhibit in Groups, Class in Groups and a Best Exhibit in Group. A remarkable feat for a young lady who had a motor vehicle accident at 5 and has an acquired brain injury. William bred his first litter in 2014, and has fostered a deep love and respect for the breed since this time, there will always be at least one Whippet in his life. During this time he has enjoyed success in and out of the ring, and has found that he is breeding healthy examples of the breed who also have outstanding dispositions. William is now a 21 year old young man. He is well respected throughout Australia for his handling skills and also his calm, gentle and compassionate nature towards all the breeds he handles. The family has a strong belief that Whippets can change lives !!

Hydale is a small kennel, based about 1 hour out of Adelaide, Sth. Aust. Our WHIPPETS are best known for quality, including our blacks and blues. We have also shown Greyhounds, R.C. Collies, German Shepherds, Border Collies, Basenjis and Alaskan Malamutes. We have continually strived to maintain the quality of our whippets; of any colour, with a focus on maintaining quality and type. When we breed our bitches, it's for our benefit. Our whippets are competitive in the show ring, easily trained for obedience or agility, and make great companions. Bloodlines include: Collooney, Bundoon, Aslan, Coeurdelamer, Taejaan, Oakway, Pressage, Sheberghan, Statuesque, Swifthund, Allswell, Arbee, and Dreamstar. Our most recent Champions to be exported = (December 2018 - Hawaii) + (June 2018 - Hong Kong) include Ch Hydale th Max Factor who has sired litters in Hawaii, and also going BEST OF BREED at his first show, and BEST IN GROUP at his 2nd outing. Some of our other exports have sired / given birth to litters residing and showing in Hong Kong, Europe and America. Skyeway Kennels have been established since 1969 when Betty and Annabel Hart began exhibiting & breeding Cairn Terriers and later joined by West Highland White Terriers. Whippets joined us in 1975 when we bought our first whippet from Martinique Kennels which set up our strong relationship we have enjoyed with Ian Doherty and Terry Crowley for many years. Not long after 1975, I (Annabel) married Jon Gunn, also a breeder and exhibitor of whippets, and the three of us combined our experience to produce many champions and Best in Show winners, particularly at Specialist shows. At our small yet select kennel, based at Goolwa in South Australia, we strive to produce quality, good natured, sound dogs that epitomise the standard. In keeping our kennel small we are able to enjoy this beautiful breed, not just as kennel dogs, but first and foremost - as our much loved pets.

Wroxton, formerly known as Duxford, is internationally known for its shih-tzu and is the home to over 130 Champions in Australia and abroad: many Grand and Supreme Champions. We also boast the youngest Grand Champion in Australia, testament to the quality of dogs we breed. While we don't breed that often, our puppies, like all our dogs, are raised and remain a part of our family and within the family home to ensure the very best of temperament. In addition to shih-tzus, whippets have always been a part of our lives, our first in 1992 - Savannah "Ch Statuesque Pillow Talk", went on to win numerous Best in Shows. In 2010 we moved to Brazil where, in addition to judging, we came across the Apoama whippet kennel: such wonderful dogs. Our first whippet, a rescued boy named 'Max', came into our lives about 20 years ago. Our lovely boy stole our hearts, played endlessly with our young children and managed to rid our small farm of rabbits for good measure. We have had an affinity with whippets ever since. We then moved into the pedigree dog world with the purchase of Calahorra Zerlina - 'Lola'. Lola had her first litter in 2018, giving us the beautiful Deevaux Pam Beesly - 'Beesly' who has grown into a stunning young girl. Beesly had her first litter in 2020, giving us our third wonderful girl, Deevaux Violet Bucket “Mollyâ€. Whippets have been a wonderful addition to our family, and a great example of the joy that they bring to a home: small enough to cuddle up on your lap, big enough to rough house with the kids, gentle as a lamb, and fast enough to overtake seagulls at the beach. Our whippets live with us in our home, indoors and out, thrive on their Raw Meaty Bones (RMB) diet, and are wonderfully healthy dogs with loving and gentle dispositions. We aim to breed occasionally to produce sound, English style whippets with gentle personalities, excellent confirmation, and a keen eye for the chase - just what these beautiful dogs were originally developed for.

Zapotec puppies are healthy, friendly family oriented puppies, with outgoing temperaments. Puppies are initially raised indoors, and then conditioned to an indoor/ outdoor environment. A consistent performer in the show ring, she finished her 20km ET with ease and came back to us in 2006 after spending 18 months holding her own in the US in conformation (Specialty Select & Multiple Group placings) and her new game - lure coursing. These days she is semi-retired from the show ring but her 11 Champion children (so far) and now grandchildren are "flying her flag proudly". If you've got and Isilwane Whippet - you've got Electra on your pedigree - what more could you want. And the Whippets are multiplying (but don't tell the Ridgebacks) - we must have fed them after midnight and let them get wet!!! Also resident at Isilwane are Charlie (BISS Gr Ch Tezer Feel Free to Stare), Zest (BIS/RUBIS Ch Isilwane Flag Bearer ET) and our return package Nugget (RUBISS Ch Isilwane Jolly Roger) who is now proving his worth in the whelping box.
